Postdoctoral Positions in the Nwosu Lab
Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics

Position
The Nwosu lab has positions for two postdoctoral research fellows that are enthusiastic about working on the role of glutathione (GSH) in pancreatic cancer. The GSH project has various multidisciplinary contexts such as a link to the tumor microenvironment/immunology, tumor subtypes, transcriptional and epigenetic regulation as well as therapeutic resistance. The project will require the use of cell lines and mouse models to determine how GSH promotes cancer and the tumor growth effect of targeting the GSH pathway. The successful postdocs will have access to already existing data will ensure a smooth project execution. Salaries are set at the NIH rate.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry, tumor immunology, pharmaceutical sciences, and other life sciences.
Job Requirements
Experience in cell culture, cloning/molecular techniques, and mouse work is necessary.
Candidates are expected to show experience in scholarly work as evidenced by prior grant/fellowship award, presentation in conferences, and or publication.
Basic knowledge of cancer biology is essential.
Experience in cancer research and bioinformatics analysis is desirable but not essential.
